About Our Pool
This is a community pool. The Board reserves the right to ask any HOA member or guest to leave at any time for inappropriate language, behavior, or actions. If you have questions, send an email to: sonoma.lake@gmail.com.
For 2026, the pool season begins on Thursday, May 21st and the Regular Season will end on Labor Day. Weather permitting, we'll explore a limited schedule Extended Season in September.
During the Regular Season, the pool will be open 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday. With the exception of certain holidays, we'll be closed Mondays for chemical treatments and inspection. Senior Swim is also returning for 2026. If you are 55+ and would like access to the pool from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, please contact the Board for access.
-- 2026 Pool Update --
Repairs of the pool tiles and plaster are being conducted in early May. Users of the Clubhouse should be considerate of the construction occuring in the backyard. Limit access to the pool area and sidewalk by playground while the contractor is working to prevent injuries.
The Sonoma Lake pool is located behind the clubhouse and accessed through the locked gate on the west side of the clubhouse. Access requires a current pool card.
Pool Cards
New members to the community and those who need replacement of a lost card may contact sonoma.lake@gmail.com to make arrangements for a key card or visit the clubhouse during one of the sign up events detailed below. New cards are $5. Only one card at a time will be issued for each Sonoma Lake household.
Pool card holders must agree to the pool rules for their card to be activated. A form is provided on this website or in person when you pick up your card. Residents must be in good standing and HOA dues must be paid in FULL before cards will be activated.
Only adults may sign for and pick up cards.
Pool Dates & Usage
The pool is for Sonoma Lake HOA members who are current on their dues only. Access is restricted via pool cards. Residents with existing pool cards can activate them online for the current year approximately 30 days before the start of pool season. An announcement will be made on this page and through the HOA email list when activation and new or replacement card request is available.
For 2026, we will be available for in-person pool card registration at the clubhouse on the following dates:
Tuesday 05/12/26 - 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Sunday 05/17/26 - 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Note, card activation is a manual process. We'll work quickly to process new requests, but please anticipate a few days between request and activation.
Pool Rules
The pool is for Sonoma Lake residents and their accompanied guests only. The number of guests is limited to five (5) per household. Members must accompany their guests at all times.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Swim diapers are required until potty trained. Restrooms are available in the clubhouse.
Pool safety equipment is for emergency use only. There is no lifeguard on duty and you swim at your own risk.
No running, shoving or similar roughhousing within the pool area. No bikes, scooters, or other rolling or powered vehicles of any kind are allowed within the pool area, except as required by medical necessity.
No glass bottles are allowed within the pool area.
No smoking while on community property, including within the pool area
No swimming or being present within the pool area while impaired by alcohol or other substances. Anyone visibly impaired may be asked to leave the pool area.
Swimwear, music and general behavior must be appropriate for a family environment.
Be respectful of other guests and neighbors at all times - pool privileges are revocable.
